The most recorded song in pop history. I would have never guessed that the OBViOUS would record this song. However at the request of Atsushi Suzuki, I agreed to add the song to our repertoire, but only under one condition: he'd let me re-arrange it ... or "OBViOUS-ize it" as we would say. He agreed and even added greatly to the arrangement's climactic ending.

We purposefully avoided the usual sentimental interpretation of the song, making ours a bit more gritty and bluesy with a funky groove. We also lovingly borrowed a bit of En VOGUE's masterful Hip Hop vocal arrangement. For the finishing touch, a humorous Brain May/Steve Vai styled guitar solo. As for our re-titling of this song...? Well, the reasons for that are best left to the imagination.

ポップミュージックの歴史の中で、最もカバーされている曲でしょう。我々がこれを収録するとは夢にも思いませんでした。でも、メンバーの鈴木 篤司からリクエストされ、レパートリーに入れることは賛成しましたが、条件をつけました： わたしがアレンジし直すこと。・・・「OBViOUS色に染める」とでも言いましょうか。アツシは同意して、新しいアレンジに最高のエンディングまで加えてくれました。

ファンキーなグルーヴで、もっとザラザラでブルージーな感じにすることで、意図的にこの曲の持つセンチメンタルな解釈は省きました。また、アン・ヴォーグの素晴らしいヒップ・ホップのボーカル・アレンジにヒントを得ています。最後の仕上げに、ブライアン・メイ/スティーヴ・ヴァイ風のギターソロを加えました。タイトルの変更について・・？そうですね、その理由はご想像にお任せします。
